Reduces visibility of freckles, sun spots, and age spots: Glycolic acid weakens the bonds of dead skin cells so that they may gently slough off, reducing visible signs of hyperpigmentation, such as freckles, age spots, and sun spots.
Lightens skin tone: When dead skin is removed and fresh skin is uncovered, the new skin shows fewer signs of the effects of hyperpigmentation, causing skin to appear lighter than when the dead skin cells were on the surface.
Reduces visibility of fine lines and wrinkles: Dead skin cells tend to build up more in cracks and crevices in the face, deepening and worsening the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Exfoliating the dead skin removes this buildup, causing wrinkles to appear less deep.

Due to the strength of AHA skin treatment products, we recommend that first-time users start with a 35% concentration (70% half-diluted in water) or our 30% Glycolic Peel, and gradually work their way up. It is also best to apply the peel for only one minute for the first couple of treatments, then increase by one minute for each subsequent treatment, but not exceeding a maximum of five minutes. Using the dropper, apply several drops to a cotton ball or round, and rub evenly onto the surface of the face. Leave on for 1-5 minutes, then rinse off with warm water.
